Abdo Wahba — abdowahba.com
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Who we are
This website and its related services are operated by:
Abdelrahman (Abdo) Wahba
Kaiser-Wilhelm-Str. 109a, 12247 Berlin, Germany
Email: me@abdowahba.com
VAT / business identification: as separately invoiced
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Abdo Wahba, and "you" refers to the person accessing the website or using the services.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms govern your access to www.abdowahba.com and to the services we offer through it, including individual and group storytelling, presentation and public speaking coaching, workshops, talks, programmes and related materials (together, the "Services").
By using the website or booking or participating in any of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the Services.
If you are ordering or participating on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation.
3. Our agreement with you
These Terms are the general terms. Where a specific offer, order form, proposal or services agreement has been agreed between us and covers the same subject matter, that document takes precedence over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
4. Booking, pricing and payment
4.1 Prices for the Services are shown on the website, in the relevant offer or in our written correspondence. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all prices are in euros and are exclusive of VAT where VAT applies.
4.2 A booking becomes binding when we confirm it in writing (including by email) or when payment is received, whichever occurs first.
4.3 Unless agreed otherwise in writing, invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date, without deduction.
4.4 Where a deposit is agreed, the deposit confirms your place. Deposit amounts and any refund conditions are stated in the relevant offer.
4.5 We may change our prices for future bookings at any time. Changes do not affect bookings we have already confirmed.
4.6 Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details. Your use of a payment provider is also subject to that provider's own terms.
5. Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation
5.1 Sessions and workshops are held on the dates and at the times we agree in writing.
5.2 Rescheduling by you. If you need to move a session, please give us at least forty-eight (48) hours' notice; in that case the first rescheduling is free, subject to availability. Where shorter notice is given, or where a session is rescheduled more than once, we may treat the session as delivered.
5.3 Cancellation by you. Coaching is a time-based service and slots are reserved for you. Unless your specific offer states otherwise:
more than fourteen (14) days before the start of the Services: the deposit is retained and any further amounts paid are refunded;
fourteen (14) days or fewer before the start: amounts already paid are non-refundable.
5.4 Cancellation by us. If we cancel and cannot offer a reasonable alternative date, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for the affected Services or a credit to be used on another date.
5.5 Where a workshop or programme requires a minimum number of participants and that minimum is not reached, we may cancel or postpone it and will refund amounts paid for that event.
5.6 No-shows are treated as delivered sessions.
5.7 Nothing in this clause limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
6. Your right of withdrawal as a consumer
6.1 If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) days of entering into it, without giving reasons.
6.2 Where you expressly request that we begin the Services before the withdrawal period has expired, you must pay for the portion of the Services already provided.
6.3 Once a service has been fully performed and you have expressly agreed to the performance beginning, the right of withdrawal is lost for that service.
6.4 To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to me@abdowahba.com before the withdrawal period expires. You may use the standard withdrawal form but are not obliged to. We will refund using the same payment method you used, without undue delay and in any event within fourteen (14) days of receiving your notice.
7. What coaching is — and what it is not
7.1 Coaching is a collaborative process focused on your development as a communicator. You are responsible for the decisions you make and for how you apply what you learn.
7.2 Our Services do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, tax, financial or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional.
7.3 We make no promise or guarantee of any specific outcome — including but not limited to speaking engagements, business results, funding, offers, bookings, employment outcomes or audience numbers. Any examples, testimonials or case studies describe individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results.
7.4 You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of any content you present, record or publish.
8. Your obligations
When using our website or the Services, you agree to:
8.1 provide accurate information when booking;
8.2 attend sessions prepared and on time, and give reasonable advance notice where you cannot;
8.3 treat our sessions with respect for the process — including bringing real material where the format requires it;
8.4 ensure that anything you record or share with us is lawful and that you have the right to do so;
8.5 not record sessions, workshops or talks without our prior written consent;
8.6 not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of others.
9. Recordings and materials
9.1 Any materials, worksheets, frameworks, recordings or templates we provide are for your personal, non-transferable use in connection with the Services. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish or use them to run your own paid offerings.
9.2 Where a group session is recorded, we will tell you beforehand and seek your consent to being recorded.
9.3 Recordings of individual sessions are made only with the prior consent of both parties.
10. Confidentiality and conduct
10.1 We keep confidential everything you share with us that is not publicly available, and use it only for the purposes of delivering the Services.
10.2 We treat both parties' confidentiality obligations as mutual. We expect you to keep confidential any non-public information about our methods, materials and business.
10.3 We reserve the right to end a session or a programme immediately if behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or makes the space unsafe for others. See clause 13.3 for what happens to amounts paid in that case.
11. Intellectual property
11.1 All content on this website — including text, design, graphics, logos, photographs and written materials — and all coaching materials, frameworks and methodologies are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
11.2 You may view and, where offered for download, use the content for your own reference. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or use the content commercially without our prior written permission.
11.3 If you copy, reproduce or share our materials without permission, you agree to pay one and a half (1.5×) times the standard licence fee for that material. If you make unauthorised commercial use of our materials — including using them to deliver sessions for third parties — you agree to pay three (3) times the standard licence fee. All other remedies available to us remain reserved.
12. Third-party links and services
12.1 The website may link to, or integrate, third-party services (for example scheduling tools, payment processors, video platforms or AI tools). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
12.2 Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
13. Liability
13.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and for liability under the German Product Liability Act. For simple negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, and in that case limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
13.2 Except where clause 13.1 applies, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the total amount you paid us for the Services giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
13.3 If we end a session or programme under clause 10.3, amounts already paid for future sessions are non-refundable.
13.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Changes to the services and to these Terms
14.1 We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the website or the Services. We will not make changes that would substantially worsen a booking we have already confirmed without your agreement.
14.2 We may amend these Terms for the future. The version published on the website, marked with its date, applies. Confirmed bookings remain governed by the Terms in force at the time of confirmation unless you agree otherwise.
15. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German law. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms: www.abdowahba.com/privacy
16. Complaints and disputes
16.1 If something goes wrong, contact us first at me@abdowahba.com. We will try to resolve the matter within fourteen (14) days.
16.2 As a consumer, you may use the EU online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) and are not generally willing to do so.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
17.1 These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
17.2 Where you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany. For consumers, the statutory jurisdiction rules apply.
17.3 If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The invalid provision is deemed replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its purpose.
